Installation
============

Constrained Maximum Likelihood MT 3.0 requires **GAUSS 18** or later. 

**GAUSS 18-19**
-------------------
For installation in **GAUSS** versions 18-19 the **Applications Installation Wizard** should be used to for installion.

From within GAUSS go to **Tools -> Install Applications** and follow the prompts to install
GAUSS Applications from the downloaded .zip file.

**GAUSS 20+**
--------------
For **GAUSS 20** and later, the `GAUSS Package Manager <https://www.aptech.com/blog/gauss-package-manager-basics/>`_ should be used for installation. 

Difference Between the Linux/Mac and Windows Versions
------------------------------------------------------

If the functions can be controlled during execution by entering keystrokes from the keyboard, it may be necessary to press ENTER after the keystroke in the Linux/Mac version.
