dtDayofMonth¶

Purpose¶

Extracts the day of the month component from a date/time variable as a decimal number (1-31).

Format¶

dom = dtDayofMonth(X[, column])¶

Parameters:

X (TxK dataframe) – Data with metadata.
column (Scalar or string) – Optional, name or index of the date variable in X to get days of the months from.

Returns:

dom (Tx1 vector) – The day of the month of the dates in the column specified by column.

// Get day of the month for date column
dom = dtDayofMonth(data, "Date");

// Print first and last five dates
